Everybody loves a happy ending, and last night on Gene Simmons Family Jewels, we had the happiest of endings. The wedding of Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed. It was truly a lovely affair. One of the guests, comedian Bill Mahr commented that it was the best wedding produced by a cable network he had ever seen. The Simmons family certainly pulled out all of the stops and also added they combined enormous talents to this ceremony. Other than some very minor wardrobe issues with Gene, the wedding was executed perfectly. The actual ceremony was indeed lovely and the vows each wrote and recited were full of love and promise. Nick and Sophie stood by their their parents, as well as Tracy and several of Gene?s closest friends, like Paul Stanley. The wedding band Gene gave Shannon was large and in charge, loaded with diamonds. Shannon had her father?s wedding band remolded for Gene, adding to the sentimentality of this sacred affair.
